ScrapBooking Retreat

September 26-28, 2008. Billie, Jessica and I went on a Scrapbook Retreat. It was so much fun. It was in Hinckley MN at this really nice house that was converted just for these types of getaways. The three of us shared a room downstairs and someone made meals for us, and we did nothing but scrapbook all weekend long. Well I guess there was a little bit of drinking and laughing so hard that I thought my insides were going to burst.

Friday Night: we got there about 6:45 after a long stop at the Carter Outlet. I think Billie and I bought out the store. We brought all of our things in and got started. There was a wide range of levels there. I had probably the least amount of experience seeing that I hadn't even done a page yet. Billie would be next seeing she had a couple of books started, and then there was Jessica with about 10 years of experience. Thank goodness for that seeing we pretty much used all of her tools and she taught us that you can't use an Elmer's Glue Stick!!!

Saturday: After getting up and having breakfast we dove right in and started scrapbooking. Other than a break to run to Walmart for more supplies and to eat, we scrapbooked for about 15 hours.

Sunday: we set the alarm for 8:30 so we could get up an do a couple of pages before we had to head back to reality. I got a total of 14 pages done. I was impressed with myself at what I accomplished. We all already put our deposits down for next year!! Can you imagine how much we will bring next year?

Everyone we met there was so nice and so helpful in teaching us new things. It will be a weekend I will never forget.
