This past weekend we started the festivities, Emma had turn the big one. We started the festivities off with stage one being in Duluth for a combination 50th and 1st Birthday Party. Emma's grandma and her share a birth date. The day started off Rainy and then became nicer as the day went on. It was pretty chilly but a nice escape from the warm June weather. In a tradition after the first party we dropped the kids off and went out for the evening. Luckily this time we didn't come back to a 1 year old still up and being informed of a child eating cake from the garbage. Oh memories.
